More than Just a Walk!!

“Mater Little Miracles 5ks Walk is so much more than just a great day of entertainment for your family—it’s a walk for mothers and babies at Mater; a walk to save lives”.

Since our last article in February, we have held TWO charity morning teas and have participated in TWO 5Ks walk events. These walks are so much more than just a walk in the park as the funds raised not only help more than 2000 seriously ill and premature babies, they also help expectant mothers. Up to 1 in 4 women experience complications in early pregnancy, which is why part of the funds raised will go towards helping to build Australia’s first 24/7 pregnancy assessment centre.

Through our fundraising efforts so far this year, we have managed to raise a total of $633 – nearly 50% of our goal.
