Since our last article in February, we have held TWO charity morning teas and have participated in TWO 5Ks walk events. These walks are so much more than just a walk in the park as the funds raised not only help more than 2000 seriously ill and premature babies, they also help expectant mothers. Up to 1 in 4 women experience complications in early pregnancy, which is why part of the funds raised will go towards helping to build Australia’s first 24/7 pregnancy assessment centre.Through our fundraising efforts so far this year, we have managed to raise a total of $633 – nearly 50% of our goal.
