After years of planning and improving our systems we have now applied for and been granted our own Financial Services licence from ASIC. This is an exciting day for our team, clients and future clients as it will allow us to more easily improve how we provide advice, what we advise on and how we operate. We will now be able to negotiate directly with platforms, service providers and software developers to obtain better service and pricing for our clients and business.
We have delayed this move until we had the scale and systems to ensure we did it well. With technology improving at a rapid pace it is also important for us to be able to source the technology that best suits our practice and clients and we can now move quickly with current and future developments.
For our portfolio construction and investment decisions the process and people making the decisions will not change but we will have more opportunity to source our own research.
With our team of six advisers we can better support their growth and development through improved training, client tools and processes to allow them to reach their potential.
